The schematic appears below designed Switch-Mode Power Supply (SMPS) circuit diagram. This SMPS circuit uses a push-pull design topology and used LM3524D as the controller for handling voltage regulation.

The schematic diagram below circuits 5V/1A Step-Down Switching Regulator using LM2524D Regulating Pulse Width Modulator (PWM). You may see the parameters, PC board layout, stuffing diagram and more in the LM2524D datasheet.

Below is the circuit test schematic of ADG333A IC for charge injection purpose. ADG333A is one of Quad SPDT (single-pole double-throw) Switch which has a 10pC max low charge injection.

The following table shows the pin function descriptions of this LM2575, a monolitic IC designed for a step down switching regulator. LM2575 used to be applied in applications for such Power Supply for Battery Chargers, Simple High-Efficiency Step-Down(Buck) Regulator, Pre-Regulator for Linear Regulators and more.

A low cost 3A switching regulator circuit diagram is shown in the following schematic. LM317s are part of the LM117 series of adjustable positive voltage regulators.

The LM2576s are Buck Regulators which is rated for 3A of continuous load current and developed as Simple Switcher product family. These devices are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, and an adjustable output version. The basic Buck regulator application circuit is shown in the following picture.
