The Fujitsu MB39C316 Power Management IC marked as suitable use for portable applications like Mobile WiMAX  terminals and any other mobile terminals. According to the datasheet, Fujitsu MB39C316 Power Management IC is equipped with the 3 ch DC/DC converter and the 4 ch linear regulator (LDO), and it is the power supply LSI for mobile terminals which operate in the range of power supply voltage with 1-cell Li-ion power by 1ch high efficiency voltage step-up/down DC/DC.

Its PIN configuration (as seen in the diagram) consist of blocks such as external power supply, constant voltage power supply, I2C interface, RTC, Start/Stop, Reference voltage, Test, and GND. This power management IC device has protection control ability which known as Over Current Protection (OCP) and Output Short Circuit Protection’s (SCP). Another two protections control are Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO) and Over temperature protection (OTP).

National LM3886 known as a high performance audio power amplifier which utilized Self Peak Instantaneous Temperature (SPiKe) protection circuitry, and provided an inherently, dinamically protected Safe Operating Area (SOA). With this SPiKe, the device are protected at the output against overvoltage, undervoltage, overloads, including shorts to the supplies, thermal runaway, and instantaneous temperature peaks, according to the datasheet.

This LM3886 capable of delivering 68W continuous average output power into 4 Ohm at VCC = ±28V, 38W continuous average output power into 8 Ohm at VCC = ±28V, 50W continuous average output power into 8 Ohm at VCC = ±35V and typically used in applications such component stereo, compact stereo, self-powered speakers, surround-sound amplifiers, and stereo TVs.

Herein you will find datasheet for high voltage linear regulator that can be applied in automotive and battery operated systems. It is MAX16910 from Maxim Integrated Product which can deliver load current up to 200 mA, consumes only 20 uA of quiscent current at no load and 1.6 uA when in shutdown.

With operation at -40 C to +125 C automotive temperature range, it has thermal shutdown in its features in addition of enable input, short circuit protection, open drain reset output with adjustable delay, user selectable output voltage (+3.3V or +5V fixed, +1.5V to +11V adjustable with external resistive divider), and can operate through cold-crank conditions.

You can replace a fixed voltage regulators using the L200 when high output voltage precision is required.
