LTC3708 Motor Control for High Efficiency Dual Output Step Down Converter

Linear Technology has developed new dual output LTC3708 motor motion control to improve the efficiency of power supply design. It aimed to fulfill core and I/O voltage drop demand that increased in. The figure below shows the circuit schematic of High Efficiency Dual Output Step-Down Converter of the device.

This motor motion control device has 2-phase operation that will reduce peak input currents and reduces ouput noise. Its low references voltage allows output voltages down to 0.6V. It also integrates a voltage tracking that control both ramp-up and ramp-down of the two supplies in association with power-up and power-down voltage handling.
