AD5273 Digital Potentiometer Datasheet and Programmable Booster Voltage Source Circuit Diagram
The following circuit diagram is Programmable Booster Voltage Source of the AD5273 64-Position One Time 
Programmable (OTP) Digital Potentiometer. As most mechanical trimmers and variable resistors, the AD5273 shows same electronic adjustment function which allows unlimited adjustments before permanently setting the resistance values. This device used to be applied on applications such as Automotive electronics adjustments, Mechanical potentiometers and trimmer replacement, Electronics level settings, and more.
If you need a high current adjusment such as a laser diode driver or tunable laser, you may require a booster voltage source (click to enlarge the circuit diagram above). According to the datasheet, the circuit above can produce a maximum 100 mA with 5V supply. Consider to apply ADR421, ADR03 or ADR370 at terminal A of the AD5273 digital potentiometer for precision applications, a voltage reference.
