“Believing in Yourself is the first secret to Success”
Want to be more successful in this year? Want to do more hard work in this year? Want to be smarter than previous year? You’ll need to grab the right perspectives because success is also based on views, determinations, and convictions.
Like other people, I frequently have the same New Year’s resolutions every year i.e. play more baseball, work out regularly, and remain in touch with my friends more often. But this year I am going to resolve to do something different i.e. to be successful throughout the year.
As 2016 is almost passed, many of us are revealing their New Year’s resolutions whether those resolutions are personal or professional. iTechUrdu’s team personally analyzed daily routines of some high-achieving people, from entrepreneurs to street vendors, to find out their formulas for success.
1- Reconsider your Successes and Failures of Last Year
Each year provide us great learning opportunities. It would be nice if we can reconsider all the successes and failures. We should take these successes from past and should learn from failures so we will not repeat them in future.
“Forget Past Mistakes, Forget Failures. Forget everything except what you’re going to do now and do it”
2- Step up to the new Challenge
Regardless of the work, there is always a first time when a person approach to some exceptional task or assignment, and it’s natural to be a little uncertain. We should try to encourage ourselves to taken on new challenges and adjust ourselves for that challenge.
“If you are comfortable in taking up challenge, you are not growing”
3- List Skills you want to accelerate
No one knows everything. No one is great at everything. Nobody is perfect and personal encouragement can be deeply satisfying. Do a careful deep self-assessment and figure out what changes will help you be the successful person you truly want to be. Write down that changes and implement them on yourself.
“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them”
4- Find ways to do your best on even your worst days
The most successful people don’t make excuses. They step ahead, because they know establishing great repute takes particular time and effort. They know how easy it is to instantly create a bad repute by abandon it — even just one time.
“Being a real writer means being able to do the work on a bad day” – Norman
5- Set a plan for one major Goal
Most people wait for an idea. Most people think creativity happens. They expect a divine muse will someday show them a new way, a new approach, a new concept. A successful career generally doesn’t happen by chance.
“Success is only 10 percent inspiration and 90 percent perspiration”
You should start planning it, working with right people surrounding you to create a plan to provide you with a roadmap to career success, based off of your short-term and long-term aspirations. We should set a plan for one major goal that we want to achieve in 2017. We should not wait for an idea to come or an inspiration that will inspire us.
“Success doesn’t just come and find you, you have to go out and get it.”
Successful people don’t wait for ideas. They don’t wait for inspiration. They know that big ideas most often come from people who do, not people who dream.
